CREATIVE ARTS
(Crafts, Art, Cookery)

Are you interested in craft work including traditional needlework, creative work or culinary arts?
The Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc has many skilled members who are able to share their knowledge and exchange ideas.

Creative Art Exhibitions are held throughout the State by various Groups and Branches of the Association where craft work is exhibited and judged with the work of other members. This culminates in a yearly State Creative Arts Exhibition held at a different location each year. Check the Events Calendar to see where our next State Exhibition will be held. All of our Exhibitions are open to the general public for a nominal entrance fee. For entry requirements for the State Exhibition click here. View some of exhibits from our 2009 Exhibition here.

Would you like to further your skills to demonstrate to others, or become an accredited judge of Handicraft work and/or Home Industries (culinary)? This avenue is open to members only. Schools are held to assist our members to become judges and/or demonstrators. For more information contact the Creative Arts Committee Chairman, via Head Office, on 9827 8971 during business hours.

The Creative Arts Committee maintains an extensive library of Craft Books, at Lansell Road premises which may be borrowed by Association members.
We hold regular Craft Schools both at Lansell Road, Toorak, and throughout Victoria. These Craft Schools are ideal for Craft Leaders to learn new projects and ideas to take back to their own Branch and Group Craft days. These are also open to the general public. Check the Events Calendar for our next Craft School.
