2010 STATE HARVEST FAIR COMPETITION

Get out the wool and needles!  A special competition is to be held as part of the 2010 State Harvest Fair on Saturday 20 March.  This is for the best and most creative Beanie and Tea Cosy.  There are a number of Beanie/Tea Cosy Festival/Competition events throughout Australia – check out the internet for examples.

 Guidelines

* The items can be any medium (yarn, wool, fibre…) and any method 

   (knitted, crocheted, felted…).

* There will be a Wondoflex Yarn prize for each section, which has been

   kindly donated by the company.

* It would be wonderful if these items were donated to the Association for

   sale at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2010. Please mark the entry form to

   indicate donation or retention of the item/s.

* All items need to arrive at Head Office by 4.30pm on Friday 19 March (for

   judging and display prior to the Fair). Perhaps Group Presidents would

   bring them to March State Council.

* There is a maximum of two entries in each section per person. Please use

   a separate entry form for each entry (please photocopy or print from

   website).

* Please complete the Entry Form/s and return to Fair Convenor by 11

   March.

* Please securely attach a label with name and address on it, preferably

   inside the item.

* Please arrange for collection of your item/s if required.
